Nixon library Comprehensive history lesson about Nixon and what happened during his tour in the White House including Water gate It was good to be reminded of his accomplishments, despite how everything ended after the Watergate Scandal. He resigned putting country above politics. It helped me see the whole picture of his presidency. The gift shop has some out of the ordinary gifts which made it fun to shop.

Nixon’s Birthplace

Make a point to tour the house where President Nixon was born in 1913, located on the grounds. The simple clapboard house was built by President Nixon’s father in 1912, and the family lived there until 1922. In 1990, the house became a part of the private Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace, a precursor to the current Presidential Library and Museum. The house was renovated to replicate how it would have looked when the Nixon family lived there.
