Choose from a selection of designs like photo frames, boxes, or animals, and follow the guidance of an award-winning artist to choose your colors and make your design. Barcelona is more than only Gaudí! Join this combined modernist walking tour & mosaic workshop. Get to know about architectural gems and create your own modernist mosaic - a great souvenir to take home with you! During the 1.5 hours walk we will make the connection from medieval Catalan history & legends to what inspired architects when designing their magnificent buildings at the turn of the 20th century. From fountains to stone bats – all have a story we want to tell you! After the walk you will discover details you have not noticed before. You will see the city with different eyes! The walk will lead us to Angelika´s workshop. You will learn the mosaic technique “Trencadís”. This technique - using materials such as shards of glass or ceramics - can be found on Catalan Modernism buildings. She will show you the basics & handling of tools for your first masterpiece in ceramics such as a frame, top of a box, heart or square. A great memory to take home! Shared group size max. 6

Team building Event for groups and companies: Create the logo of your company in Antoni Gaudís mosaic tecnique "El TRENCADIS" The price is for the total price for a group of 15 participants. Every workshop will be customized to meet the requirements of your company and/ or department. Sharing the experience of working together on a large mosaic piece such as a company logo will enhance group motivation, communication and collaboration in an original, creative and innovative way.  Awards:  Diploma accredited for Excellence "Mestre Artesà divulgatiu (Master craftsman diploma)  in the work and divulgation of this Art, awarded by the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya at the Palau de la Generalitat in Barcelona to the owner , Angelika Heinbach of MOSAICCOS.

You will experience being Gaudí for 8 hours. After a brief presentation of the technique of Antonio Gaudí, el Trencadís, you will learn how to handle the tools and how to create your mosaic artwork in Gaudis mosaic style:" el Trencadis". You can decorate a mirror, trial or free design of a square (for example the Sagrada Familia). The bases of the decoration objects are wood. The “Gaudí Experience” will be an unforgettable, special and unique reminder of Gaudí’s Barcelona. The participants of this workshop will experience the Gaudi spirit in a relaxed atmosphere and will be tutored by one of our artesan masters. You can do a break after 4 hours and come back and do the other 4 hours. You can take your mosaic artwork with you after you finished your artwork with grout.
