This was a mistake to book when there is only a partial day available while cruising. The stops were difficult to find, the buses were extremely crowded, causing long waiting times, and the audio was terrible. I'm sure there are many better ways to see the beautiful city of Barcelona.

Hop-on Hop-off was so easy. We used it from our cruise port to get to Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell. The transfer points were easy and the audio was exceptional. The bus was cleaned up at the tranfer points and we found Barcelona very clean, especially for a big city with lots of activity. Had an absolutely wonderful time

Worth the tour of the city. However a tip for travellers that a day is not enough in Barcelona. The bus has multiple languages to listen to while driving. A bit slow but we were strapped for time so maybe felt so.

It's not a 10 min walk from cruise terminal

The cruise passenger ships dock at Terminals A,B,C and D. The hop on hop off bus, orange route is at least 30-35 min walk and the green route an extra 10 mins. Need to catch the cruise shuttle bus costing 3 euro one way or 4 euro return. Drops you at the orange route Hop on Hop off bus. The bus tour route was interesting but the point to join the bus is certainly a lot longer than a 10 min walk.

The bus was a flexible way to see Barcelona with many stops at important sites however please be aware of schedule constraints. We needed to take a taxi from the ship terminal to the cathedral as we had 1.5 hours before our scheduled tour which was not sufficient as we had to change from one bus line to another.

Barcelona is a beautiful city full of wonderful things to see. We were on a cruise so we were limited to the length of time that we had in the city. Even though we had two days for visiting. we were unable to get off and explore the many sights we wanted to visit. It is a very large city with a lot of people and traffic to deal with.

This is a great way to see a lot of a huge city! Pre-purchasing the voucher saved a lot of time. Barcelona is beautiful and impossible to do in a day. Unfortunately thats all the time we had and the hop-on hop-off feature made it easy to see as much as we could in the short time we had.

Can't beat the City Tour Hop on Hop Off. From the cruise port, we walked to the Port Vell pickup location, took Hop On Hop Off to Sagrada Familia for a tour and then back on the bus from there. Their stop is right across the street from Sagrada Familia.

We fell in love with the hop-on hop-off bus tours on this trip. The only problem was that some of the stops were quite far from where we wanted to see and there was no directional information on the map provided. As far as seeing the city from the bus it was great. Will definitely do it again on other trips. Saw many parts of Barcelona we had not even intended to visit.

Stop 4 instructions were good, but there was a closer stop 5 which was nearer to embarkation. Again due to time restraint by cruise line only about 1/4 of West tour was completed, Cruise shore time restrictions was the most frustrating for us. Second time for hop on and hop off in Barcelona, more time was given in 2015, service is good and helpful, maps and earpieces provided. tks

Barcelona is such an amazing city. The hop-on hop-off bus was definitely worth doing but didn't quite have enough time to do both routes to get full value for our day ticket. The staff also weren't quite as helpful with information on sights etc as other cities we've been too.

I would have liked a little more commentary. The two routes are long, and sometimes I felt we saw too many apartments. I wish we could have done it in two days. A lot for one day. If we had more time I think I would have enjoyed it more. But, we saw a lot of Baecelona that we could not have done on our own.

I give this 3 stars only because of the length of time taken to complete both routes which was about 5 hrs which included literally one 5 minute stop at the Sagrada Família Basilica. In our case we used the hop-on Hop-off bus as a way to get to the Sagrada Família from our cruise boat drop off point. In hindsight this was not the best option and as we did in other cities such as Athens and Rome we would have been better off hiring a van and driver . This would have ensured some stop off visits to a number of places rather than spend the whole day on the bus. Having said that, if you have a few days in Barcelona then the hop on hop off bus is a great way to learn about the city and view the sights of this vibrant city.
