When your cruise ship docks in Bruges' port, you can easily travel to the historic city center with this round-trip shuttle service from Zeebrugge. Firstly, we were shouted at by the staff for not exchanging our reservation for a ticket. We queued up in the reservation line but were not directed how to get the tickets. The man shouted at us that we'd been told 5 times already what to do. We were left in the 30+ degree heat with no shelter or communication for 1 hour and 30 minutes waiting for our return to the port. We were not given any reason for the 3 buses that did not arrive. There were over 100 people waiting to get back to the port in time. Once on the coach, the driver did not apologise nor acknowledge us getting on. We sat with no air conditioning or ventilation for our 40 minutes return journey. Arriving back late for our cruise boarding time. Fortunately, the majority of the 100 people waiting were also late so the cruise waited for us.

Upon arrival at meeting point, driver/ operator was extremely rude. Yelling at everyone “ no ticket no bus” not answering where to get ticket with your reservation. Extremely unprofessional. Boarding bus chaotic not following lines. Upon pickup, bus was 30 min late. 4:30 bus came at 5. Had to wait 30 min under the hot sun with no explanation. Boarding bus was chaotic again. Not following line people fighting to get on bus. Very dissapointing

DEFINITELY book it online. The line at the port to buy them was long and slow. Communication at the port was awkward. One guy knew that we had prepaid because he had a list with our names on it, but he said there were no more spaces for pre-paid people. Another peson had to come take care of the situation.
When leaving, we arrived at 4:45 for the final shuttle at 5 PM to a SUPER long line because the 4:30 bus never showed up. Luckily TWO busses arrived so we got on. The ride from the terminal to Bruges was about 20 minutes. At 5 PM with traffic, it was about 40 minutes. I would not advocate taking the final shuttle.

The shuttle with cruise express started well although we weren’t registered on their list having prepaid but they gave us the tickets when I showed my confirmation. All on time and only took 25 mins to get to Bruges. However on the 3.30 return we were 5 mins late and the bus was still there but pulled away even though he saw us. So no problem we waited for the 4 pm. By this time there was a huge group of 50 plus people. But the bus didn’t come at 4 or 430 or even 5 pm! It came just after with no explanation. To make matters worse, a disabled girl was getting on first with her parents but the driver was extremely unhelpful and rude shouting for tickets. He became very aggressive towards other passengers sticking up for the family when they were confused as what was going on. Then when we arrived at the cruise terminal, one passenger took a photo of the licence plate and driver and he got off the bus screaming and shouting at them and his behaviour towards one elderly man was appalling! What a piece of work! This driver should be reported for his disgusting attitude and behaviour towards the passengers it was actually quite frightening and infront of children.

In addition to the 4:30 shuttle not coming until 5 your driver was rude and nasty
I boarded first to help a family with a handicapped child. I am a physician. The driver asked for my ticket. I told him to please wait a minute as it was in my bag. He yelled at me that I couldn’t help them to first seat until I gave him my ticket. I dug it out of my bag and threw it onto his lap. He jumped out if his seat. Threw the ticket at me and drew back his fist. Other passengers yelled at him to stop. I was really frightened that he was going to punch me. I am 72 years old and certainly not a threat to him or any one. He then told me to pick my ticket up off the floor. I did as I was frightened not to.
I believe he is a very unstable person to be driving a bus full of tourist. I am happy my husband was not with me as it could have been a physical altercation.
Everyone on the bus were very upset.

We had to wait over 30 minutes from the port and an hour wait to get back. It appears they only use 1 bus. We saw other tour company buses come every 15 minutes. They also gave us coupons to use at local Brugge tours and shops. All the places refused to use stating they were expired over 5 years old! What a joke! I would not recommend Cruise Express!!

The trip to Bruges City went off fine, apart from minor delays to pick up late passengers.
The reurn was a different matter, however. For some reason or other, buses were only available for the return trip from 1:30 pm (although at least one bus was parked in the drop-off area). This resulted in a long queue - far more than a singe bus could carry.
Not surprisingly, the bus arrived at the pick-up point at about 1:29p.m No marshalls on site to call up a second bus (even though this was stuck away amongst others on site) so a huge melee resulted, leaving a good number of folk waiting for the next bus, due in 30 minutes.
Why the 1:30 bus couldn't have been at the pick-up point 15 or so minutes earlier, avoiding a long queue in the sun, beats me!

Absolutely disgusting company, I bought tickets for 4 people including ticking the wheelchair square. Went to pick up tickets with my son who is in a wheelchair, told to walk up road to coach, to be asked can he get out of wheelchair and walk up stairs as they have no wheelchair lift. My son can't wal, why sell tickets to a disabled person knowing there was no lift in coach. So we had no way of getting to Bruges and spoilt our whole day.

The shuttle leaving the port was 20 minutes late. Boarding the shuttle was a nightmare, as the last passengers to arrive were the first boarded on the shuttle. Poor handling of the entire operation.
The return bus was scheduled to pick up every half hour. We arrived at the pickup location at 2:35 (the 2:30 bus had already left), so waited for the 3:00 bus, which didn’t arrive until about 3:20. Made many calls to the office in the meantime, but after 10 rings, the call was disconnected. Over and over. Once the Driver arrived, she said the other bus had broken down and that this would be the last bus back to port. We ended up with 66 passengers in a bus that is supposed to handle a maximum of 50. Kudos, however, to the driver for handling the potential mass uprising with grace; shame on the shuttle company for putting her in such an untenable position.

When we got of the ship we had to ask where to pick up the shuttle as there was no signs telling us where to go and it wasnt with sight. Coach was clean and tidy and staff were pleasent. On our way back the coach opened up both doors which made for chaos. It was very disorganised and ended up with 3 people standing up on they trip back to the ship.

Arrived at 8.20 am to catch first bus the guy let the bus go with only 4 people on when he could see there was another 6 ready to go we had to wait then till9.20 before we started the journey !!
First bus to return was 1.30 very long queue waiting for this so unable to fit everyone in one bus .
We got on realised there were no seats and then the driver closed the doors leaving 4 people standing up and left the other people to wait another 30 minutes for the next one !
Not a great experience allI can say is you save money by not going with the cruise excursion
