The symbol of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, is best seen from the water. This bridge-to-bridge boat tour departing from Fisherman’s Wharf provides unbeatable views of this architectural icon. Cruise underneath the red spires as well as under its east-side counterpart, the Bay Bridge.

After boarding the boat, perhaps buy a snack or a drink from the full bar (own expense; you are also free to bring food on board). Then enjoy the scenery as your captain takes you across San Francisco Bay, passing by Alcatraz Island. Admire landmarks like Coit Tower, the Ferry Building, the Transamerica Pyramid, and the Palace of Fine Arts, and see where the wide Pacific meets the narrow entrance to the bay.

The trip itself was fun. There was a sewer stink however that lasted 80 %of the time and filled the inside of the boat , causing us to stay on the outside seating. The audio was also an unpleasant voice; too high pitched.

My boyfriend had never been to San Francisco so we did a weekend trip together and both wanted to do the boat tour. It was fantastic. Very friendly staff and the earphones that translates the tour into Spanish were very helpful for my family from Mexico. The views of the bridge were awesome. I was worried when I saw it start to rain but it was fine. Plenty of space to sit inside and still enjoy the great view. I look forward to taking more family in the future.

Watching the Fleet Week air show from the water. My only criticism of the trip was being unable to hear the narrative over the roar of the boat engines. All passengers should have been given headsets with the narrative. I’m sure it must have been interesting factoids being broadcast over the loudspeaker.
